Illinois just got screwed

Governor Rod Blagojevich and Speaker Michael Madigan have been hobnobbing in Denver when their asses should have been in Springfield working on maintaining our resources, namely the 11 state parks that were just ordered closed.

These two men are an absolute disgrace and should resign, although we all know they are either too stupid or ignorant to do either.

Once these parks are closed, you can rest assured they will never be reopened. Lowden State Park in Oregon Illinois boasts the Blackhawk statue which will most assuredly fall into disrepair now. Kettle Moraine View State Park which has provided a wealth of services and activities is now gone.

Once again the Governor and Madigan have found a way to screw the citizens of this state.

Instead of hobnobbing in Denver on the taxpayers dime Governor and Mr. Speaker, how about getting your ASSES back to Illinois and actually putting in a full weeks worth of work? Oh I am sorry, you are too busy....

Carter - As if anyone was really listening

Former President Jimmy Carter was spewing forth his venom again tonight, castigating McCain by saying he was "milking every possible drop of advantage" from his POW experience in Vietnam.

Well Mr. Carter, I am by no means a McCain lover, but I can tell you that you could not hold his jock strap let alone match his integrity and patriotism.

Its time for the old, bitter, washed up, former President to fade quietly into the background and resume his position as a nobody, just like he grew up.

Democratic National Convention

I do not know if this event should be called a convention or not; it is beginning to appear more like a 60's lovefest, and now with the "hugfest" of the Illinois delegation, I have come to one conclusion......

The only way this gets worse is to have an all out orgy.

I shudder at the thought.
