Mike McCarthy stated the "...train has left the station..." in his presss conference last night; well Mr. McCarthy there is one more train that is going to be leaving Green Bay; most assuredly that train will have Ted Thompson on it, the only question now is - will you be on it?

Although I would love to see ted get the axe, I just don't see Murphy admitting that they mishandled this. They want to blame it all on Favre.
If Favre has a successful season in NY and Rodgers stinks it up like everyone expects him to, Thompson should be fired.
Even if Favre does not play well for the Jets, he still offered GB the best opportunity to win.
So why didn't the bears make a move for Favre?
The bears do not need another washed up, has been qb.

The Revolving door of qb's that has plagued most teams in the league was just installed in Green Bay by Ted Thompson.
One thing that I should have said in the original post was that for all we know Mark Murphy was behind the planted stories.
I doubt it, but it is entirely possible.
