Today marks the opening day of the Illinois Deer Season; alas I sit in an office reminiscing of the days gone by where I sat freezing my hindparts in a tree stand waiting for that rack of a lifetime to pass me by.
I am disappointed that I was not able to deer hunt this year, but I will spend several days bird hunting between now and January so all is not lost.
I wish every hunter has a safe and enjoyable experience....
Now if I could moose hunt with Governor Palin, that would be a trip worth making!
